If only we could just hit the auto-save button and reset when shit hits the fan. We'd be a much wiser race if we knew the implications of some of these technologies we're afraid to use. If things went bad, it would be easier to get everyone on board with the justification for explicitly banning such activities when we return to the save point, ie now.
